Terms & Conditions for Calligraphy

As always, there are always a few conditions that need to be clarified:

Deposit & Payment
A non refundable deposit of 50% of the total amount is required prior to the work going ahead, or on receipt of the materials to be written on. The remaining amount will be issued through an invoice, delivered when the work is posted or collected. Postage and packaging costs will be added on. Cheques should be made payable to Alice Elliott

Cancellations
The 50% deposit is non refundable. For postponed events your order will be kept for 6 months only, after which your deposit will be lost.

Materials Used
You will supply the invitations and cards to be written on. Supplying a few extra to cover any mistakes (since calligraphy is done by hand and not a machine) will be much appreciated.

Arrangements for projects such as sourcing materials for seating plans can be organised on request, at an additional cost.

Various ink colours are available on request, subject to availability, with specialist colours incurring an additional cost. Requests for special nib widths receive the same treatment.

Time Schedule
Please allow ample time for the work to be completed. Short-notice commissions may be subject to an additional charge.

Prices for calligraphy invites and place cards 50p per name envelopes £2 each address menus and seating plans by arrangement
